The start of Noisy Lines

Hey,

I have no idea how to start talking about the little business we created.

So let’s just start from the beginning! Both my partner and I love to draw and create quirky little drawings in our free time, so one day while chatting away we decided why not combine our efforts and start a little side business while we studied.

I had already tried my own business venture before but eventually had to stop things but with him I felt it could be different. Unfortunately we were stuck on a name, we went to many different names like the Ink Nook, or something lame like Planned Passion, I really cannot remember. While I racked my brains to come up with a name my partner came up with the name Noisy Lines.

The meaning behind it is the combination of both our personalities – me, being more colourful and jumpy, aka “Noisy”, and him more quiet and organised, straight like a “Line”. While it is a juxtaposition, we make quite the team.

Noisy Lines represents the both of us and the art we do. Every illustration is done by hand and by the both of us. Even though we might have different styles, we feel it compliments each other very well to create the most exciting and passionate art.

I am starting this blog to share our drawings and our story with the world. I will be blogging our illustrations with the story or concept behind them, trust me they all have amazing stories. If you ever feel like you want one, please don’t hesitate to contact us, we will try our best to get it to you, where ever you are.
